Tailorbirds are small birds belonging to the genus Orthotomus.Tailorbirds have short rounded wings, short tails, strong legs and long curved bills. The tail is typically held upright, like a wren. They are typically found in open woodland, scrub and gardens.Tailorbirds get their name from the way their nest is constructed. The edges of a large leaf are pierced and sewn together with plant fibre or spider's web to make a cradle in which the actual grass nest is built - From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This is THE Bird who pulled me to Birding. Thanks for introducing me to your species and I am in love with each one of you :)
Hello sister, according to my knowledge I think that the picture of the above bird is of Mongtit, similar to pebet but shorter tail feature. I have seen it quiet often and I hope I am not confusing. As I haven't seen pebet, I was searching a picture of it and this one came out. I asked my parents whether this one is pebet or mongtit and told me that it is mongtit. They told me that pebets are usually in flocks. They are found in different colours. Smaller than a sparrow. And this is all I know about it.(my parents have seen both pebet and mongtit). And please excuse me if my information is wrong. Thankyu
