The Taiga Flycatcher or Red-throated Flycatcher (Ficedula albicilla) is a species of bird in the Muscicapidae family.
It is found in the Indian Subcontinent and Southeast Asia, ranging across Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan,Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Malaysia, Thailand, Mongolia, China, Vietnam, and Japan. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
It is sometimes considered a subspecies of the Red-breasted Flycatcher.
