Chestnut-bellied Rock Thrush

The Chestnut-bellied Rock Thrush (Monticola rufiventris) is a species of bird in the Muscicapidae family. It is found in the northern regions of the Indian Subcontinent, eastwards towards parts of Southeast Asia. Its range includes BangladeshBhutanIndiaTibetLaosMyanmarNepalPakistanThailand, andVietnam. Its natural habitat is temperate forests. The male fits the description of the nominate species, but the female does not have a chestnut belly or the bright blue primary feathers of the male.
